Patti Murin

Graduated: 1998

Patti MurinPatti first worked with Mr. Scarrone way back in a production of Cinderella at Myers Corners Elementary School as a member of The Myers Players. She played the integral part of one of Cinderella’s mice, and played it to the hilt.

Patti’s first role as a freshman at Jay was the part of the gold digging secretary in Plaza Suite. She then played the love interest in Arsenic and Old Lace, Ms. Krumholtz in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, a Hot Box Girl in Guys and Dolls, Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Mary Lennox in Secret Garden. Patti also appeared in numerous benefit performances for Proscenium.

Patti graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in 2002. Her regional credits include Bauty and the Beast (Belle), and every production of Princess. Patti originated the role of Sharpay Evans in the professional premier of High School Musical (Fox Theater, Atlanta).

Patti recently made her Broadway debut playing the part of Erato in the new musical, Xanadu.

Patti has graciously agreed to come back to Proscenium and assist with our upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast by conducting a "Belle Workshop."
